What you are today is the result of thought patterns that you have acquired over the years. Your perspective or view on circumstances and people are determined largely by the way you think.
As human beings, there will be days when everything seems to go wrong. Again, the operative word is seems. It could be that your spouse or partner, boss or child seemed particularly annoying. One thing leads to another and everything seems to look bad.
Thought patterns are serious business. You may wake up fresh, decided to start the day on a bright note.
Then you start thinking about an unpleasant incident. This leads to recollections of further unpleasant situation. A spiral unfolds.
This is a negative thought pattern, and you know what the consequence will be. Negative thought pattern lead to undesirable prophecies. One's fears can come through
So why place ourselves in such a predicamen?

We are what we think. Thoughts create our reality, our present and our future. Yet, many of us do not realize that the mind is the most powerful weapon we have in our possession. There is much neglect when it comes to mind management and it is often neglect when it comes to mind management and it is often relegated to work on auto pilot, treating it as if it was our kidney, lung or liver.
But the mind needs all the care and nurture to ensure that we live a fulfilling and meaningful life. It is the gatekeeper to all that we should be and will be. It can determine our happiness or our misery. It can attract luck or misfortune, depending onthe inputs we feed it.
It's all in the mind!
Ralph Waldo Emerson aptly wrote,"The ancestor of every action is a thought ."Behind everything we do is a thought propels us to act. It is simple, yet profound.
All inventions that man has created germinated from a thought, an idea. Air travel is something we take for granted now but this would not have happened if the Wright Brothers had not been imbued with the thought of flying.
Thoughts become reality
Such is the power of the mind. It is never too late to "control the mind,"to realize its profound impact on our lives.
